Communication Specialist of the Year 2025.
The Art of Explaining has been named Communication Specialists of the Year in the Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards 2025. The programme draws more than 10,000 nominations from 32 countries and aims to single out organisations that combine innovation with consistently strong delivery.
For us, the award matters because it recognises the importance of turning complex ideas into something people can use to make a positive difference.
What the judges saw
Clarity first
The panel noted our central aim — to make the complex simple — and how this shapes both our learning programmes and creative work, providing a bridge between technical expertise and everyday understanding.
Learning and execution
Rather than treating training and content creation as separate disciplines, we integrate the two. A project may involve reframing a story, sharpening a message, designing visuals and coaching delivery — each treated as part of a whole.
Useful, useable skills
The report emphasised the breadth of our programmes: exploring and reframing ideas; writing, storytelling, presenting, brand messaging, tone of voice and personal impact — all focused on tools people can use immediately.
Adapting to the medium
Choosing the right medium for your message is critical. The judges recognised the range of formats we work in — from documents and presentations to websites, films and events.
Using technology well
Our use of platforms such as Miro and Mentimeter was commended for making workshops more interactive and collaborative, not merely more digital.
